For sale: fixed gear/ fixie / single-speed bicycle, built from a Dawes Shadow (1980s) frame sprayed black, and built up from new components. Built a year ago and hasn't seen much use. In good condition as pictures show, with minor paint chips as to be expected.

The bike rides superbly, very smooth and responsive. Wheels and cranks are only 10 months old and the bearings feel as new. The headset was re built with new ball bearings and fresh grease when the frame was painted. Can be either ridden single speed or fixed (with or without freewheel).

New parts include:

- Omega track wheelset (700c), flip-flop rear hub.
- 16t fixed sprocket and 16t Dicta freewheel.
- Vitoria 23c front tyre, purple 23c rear tyre.
- Track crankset with cartridge (sealed) bottom bracket. Very smooth with perfect chain line.
- Halfords metal black pedals.
- Clarks single-speed chain.
- Dirt Harry pink brake lever, with new cable.
- New Clarks front brake pads on painted/overhauled Weinmann original front brake. Stops very well.
- Ahead stem convertor, black ahead stem and cut down black flat bars.
- Oury purple grips.

The sum of the above parts is well above my asking price, and anyone who has built a bike from the frame up will know how much of a pain getting things to all fit together in harmony can be!
