I have decided to sell my wedding dress which I wore in Jan 2007. It has been sat in the wardrobe in a protective dress bag ever since, and it's time it went to a better home.
I had a gothic wedding, and decided on a traditional style dress, but with a dark red colour instead of the usual white or ivory.
The dress is a size 18 - 20, but has a bit of variation in the size due to the lace up back, so can be pulled in or let out to suit. The top half of the dress is a very flattering corset style, with small diamanté s decorating it.
The lower half of the dress is a full skirt with an organza underskirt to give it a nice full effect. It has a single organza layer over the top with a side split which is edged in diamanté s. The rest of the dress is made out of taffeta.
It also has a small train, approx a foot long.
The pictures I have uploaded are of my actual wedding day, and I have tried to show all features of the dress.
It was hand made by a very talented dress maker in the Harrogate area, so it does not have any designer names to brag about, but you will also not find another one like it. It cost me £1000.
