I’m Reluctantly Selling My Cannondale SL2 Trail As I Have Recently Been Made Redundant And Am In Need Of The Pennies.

The SL2 Is Very Light (12kg) And Eats Steep Uphill Climbs For Breakfast, With RST Duce Air 100mm Travel Forks Upfront She Is Great On Technical Singletrack And Descents Too.

At Christmas I Was Unaware I Would Have To Sell Her So She Was Fitted With A Brand New Chain, Rear Shimano Group Set, Disk Break Pads Front And Rear, Maxxi Ignitor Tyres Front And Rear And A New Sealed Bottom Bracket. She Has Only Been Ridden Twice Since Fitting.

Other Alterations I Have Made To The Original Spec Are:

A Shorter Stem That Improved The Handling Of The Bike (I Will Also Include The Original Longer Stem Too In The Sale So You Can Decide For Yourself)

I Replaced The Original Brake Callipers With The Lighter And More Efficient Shimano BR-M486 That Provide Great Single Finger Breaking Power Even In Wet And Muddy Conditions.

She Has Not Been Ridden Hard Hence The Original Reflectors Still On The Wheels, And Has Been Cleaned And Oiled After Every Use Without Exception (I’m A Bit Anal Like That). The Forks Had An Oil Change And New Seals In November 2011 So Are Very Plush.

There Are The Usual Scratches On The Fork Legs And Frame Mainly From Transport And Cable Rub That I Have Included In The Photos.

I Have All The Original Manuals And Booklets I Got With The Bike Including Buyers Guide And Fork Service Manual.

The Frame Is A Large And Fits Me At 5.11”
