The guitar, bought 2 weeks ago (played once or twice for playability after restringing with Ernie Ball Hybrid Slinkys) new but not in original packaging to test it is ok:
Artists such as Paul Weller, Steve Stevens (Billy Idol), Cliff Burton (Metallica), Jack Bruce (Cream). A hollowbody guitar is an extremely versatile guitar. Dave Grohl uses a hollowbody for heavy rock music and John Mayer's lead guitarist uses a hollowbody (for jazz/blues mainly). They can even be used as an acoustic sim.
The Aria TA 50 thinline semi-acoustic mounts twin MH-1 humbuckers on a maple bodied arch top with a set 22 fret mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard. The TA50 uses Aria's own design bridge and tailpiece. Played acoustically, the TA50's tone is throaty and growly, different than solid body electric guitars, and definately different to acoustic guitars.
