Sorry, this ad is no longer available.

For Sale Is A Highly Collectable Apple IMac 600Mhz Limited Edition Snow 'DV' Model. This Was Part Of The Iconic G3 IMac Model Range Which Basically Saved Apple From The Brink And Put Them Into Profit. Johnny Ives, Who Created The G3 Design Then Went On To Create The IPod, IPhone, Aluminium Uni-body Macs Et Al... So The Resurrection Of Apple As A Company Really Started Here With This Design. Their Net Worth Was Something Like 10 Billion Ten Years Ago. Now They Are Worth Something Insanely Silly - 400 Billion?

So... Hmm... Indeed, The IMac G3 Sold By The Millions From 1998-2001, However, These White Ones Were Only Made In Limited Numbers In 2001 And Were The Highest Spec Ones Available. If I Could Keep This I Would, But I Really, Really Need The Space And I Know One Day I Am Going To Kick Myself For Selling It Because It'll Probably Worth A Fair Amount One Day.

Spec Wise, This IMac Snow For Sale Comes With 256MB SD 133MHz RAM (1x512MB And 1x128MB) And A 40GB Hard Drive - It Has The Original Hard Drive In The Machine Which Works Perfectly, As Does The Factory-fitted CD-RW. The RAM Is Upgradeable To 1GB And Is The 133Mhz SD Type. Everything In The Machine Is As Per Factory Standard Specs, Which Should Make This More Valuable As The Years Pass.

These DV Models Had A Few Features That Made Them A Cut Above Due To The Inclusion Of Firewire 400 Ports, A Slot-loading CD-ROM/CD-RW Drive Etc, Built-in 10/100 Ethernet, Yada, Yada... I've Included A Picture Of The Ports, They're All Plug And Play Too Which Makes Networking And Peripherals Easy If You're Running OS X. Which This Is.

So It's All 'a Bit Old-hat By Today's Tech Standards'. It Really Is! But It's Not All About That, The IMac Spoke To The World, In A Loud Voice, Using Aesthetics As It's Larynx.

Although Saying That... This Will Still Run The OS X Operating System Well Enough For Internet And Email Use. It's A Very Stable, Intuitive And Quick Operating System. You Could Use This For Emails And EBay And Connect It To Your Stereo And Listen To ITunes Or Something Quite Capably. Probably Not Good Enough For HD YouTube, Although Should Be Ok For 240p / 360p. And It Does Look Really Good On A Desk Or In A Corner When It's Turned Off. In Any Case, This Is Sure To Be Worth Something In Ten Years Time As It'll Be The Tenth Anniversary Of The Big Man's Death. It's Probably Worth More Than £50.00 Alone In Parts/plastics Etc, So This Is Priced For A Quick Sale.
