For Sale, Or Part Trade, Is My 1975 ES-345. Other Than A Professional Re-fret And Replaced Varitone Rotary Switch, This Guitar Is In Extremely Good Original Condition. It Is A Great Looking And Playing Guitar With A Fast Neck, Very Low Action, And Great Tone From The Original Patent Number Pickups. Comes With The Original Purple Plush Lined Gibson Case Which Is In Great Condition. A Great Vintage Guitar And Ready To Gig!

Serial Number Is 372775 Which Dates It To ’74 / ’75 According To Http://home.provide.net/~cfh/gibson.html#serial The Pots Date To The Last Week Of 1974 So It’s A Fair Guess That This Is An Early 1975.

This Guitar Has Been Looked After Through It’s 37 Years. There Is Very Little In The Way Of Dings Or Dents, Next To No Lacquer Checking And Little Fading Of The Original Colour. It Is A Walnut Finish But This One Is More Like A Chestnut Colour, Very Warm And Rich. It’s Difficult To Get The Colour Accurate In Photos, Particularly In Winter Light.

The Original Frets Finally Gave Out About Two Years Ago And It Was Expertly Re-fretted With Vintage Correct Wire And Retaining The Nibs By JXG Guitars In Newcastle. When I Got The Guitar Some Years Ago, The Varitone Was Playing Up Which Proved To Be A Faulty Rotary Switch, This Was Changed, I Still Have The Original. Only Other Changed Part Is That Grover Tuners Have Been Put On It A Long Time Ago. They Are Gold And Look Correct For Mid Late ‘70s So May Have Been Done Early In The Guitars Life. The Photos Of The Pickup Routs Show That The Guitar Is In Very Good Original Condition.
