A light and sunny double with a king size memory foam mattress on a contemporary bedframe. Wardrobe available, as well as a desk and wi-fi internet. Kitchen and bathroom are shared with me. Free, on-street parking. Couples accepted on short-term basis.
Rent includes gas, electricity, and Wi-fi internet (shared: 40 GB per month)
The flat is 10 minutes to the nearest tube (Victoria Line), very close to National rail and buses, and 5 minutes from the most amazing feature of the area: the vibrant covered markets, where you can try any kind of international food you can imagine; buy vintage clothes and records, browse through artisan shops, or just enjoy good coffee and a newspaper. This is a vibrantly creative and multi-cultural area, full of musicians, artists, and craftspeople from all around the world. Everything you need is here, including a bustling high street with H&M Hennes, Bodyshop, Boots, Marks and Spencer and many other big name stores. Not forgetting the local 5-screen arthouse cinema, The Ritzy, where live music plays upstairs almost every night. Nightclubs, restaurants, cafes and bookstores abound, and there is a big library adjacent to the cinema. To go into central London is easy; you will be only 5 stops from Victoria on the tube, and a 15-minute bus ride to Waterloo, where the artistic hub known as the South Bank can be found. Very close to two National Rail stations too, going to King’s Cross/St Pancras and Victoria. It's a great area to be.
London:
London is an amazing, multi-cultural and vibrant city full to the brim with culture and heritage. There is so much to see and do that there is rarely enough time to appreciate everything. In the area around my flat there are so many restaurants and bars you could stay in one place and visit a different one every night for a month. Nearby there is a large park for jogging, walking, or just enjoying a bit of green space. Getting out of London is also easy by car, train or bus to explore the sights further afield. A car is not necessary to travel around in London, as there is always an option for a bus, train, or tube within walking distance. Cycling is popular, and is a good, cost-effective idea if you are comfortable with city traffic.
