Richard and I, both currently working full time for Lush which is based in Poole are looking for new housemates. We enjoy good food, wine, films, music the lot. We are looking for a community feel and are more than happy for us all to enjoy dinner together or share Richard’s Mojito making skills! If you are looking for a relaxed, well equipped and tidy home then we might have the space you’re looking for.

We have one single and one double bedroom to rent in a beautiful four bedroom house in Branksome. The two rooms need to be let together for £650 pcm (excluding bills) or £300 for the single room and £350 for the double. The house is on a quiet road in Branksome, 3-4 minutes walk from Branksome station and 1 minute to Ashley Road with direct buses to Poole and Bournemouth.

Ideally we are looking for one person or two friends/a couple; the previous tenants used the single room as a living room (there is a new TiVo box and broadband modem in the smaller room) and the larger as the bedroom. The rooms are next to each other on the upper floor of a three storey house alongside a modern family size bathroom. Both rooms are unfurnished except for a freestanding wardrobe in the larger room, however a double bed could be arranged.

There is a large beautiful open plan kitchen/diner/living room in the converted basement with French doors opening out onto a decking area and a large garden with a shed. The kitchen benefits from underfloor heating, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, large Belfast sink, double oven and a 5 ring hob as well as a microwave. The communal living room has a large TV (again with TiVo) and an excellent brand new sound system.

The house is rented through an agent and we are looking for 1 or 2 people to take over the tenancy agreement when the current tenants leave at the beginning of May. The tenancy runs for a minimum of six months from May 5th but we are ideally looking for people interested in a long term let with us. The agent requires £250 total in fees and the deposit for the two rooms is £560 (or £280 per person). There may be the possibility of moving in a week or two earlier if necessary.

Bills are not included in the rent; the broadband/TiVo/phone is around £15 per person monthly but all the other bills are paid quarterly.

There is an attic with storage space.
