I currently have 2 single room to let in new build canalside townhouses (6 years old) sharing with three otherss all bills included. The first available from the 31st March and the second available to girls only from the 10th April. The properties are located in Hockley behind the Jewellery quarter, North West Birmingham, existing tenants get first choice on any double or ensuite rooms that become available.

Excluding bills the rent is £49 for the single room. However it's normally let as an all inc. package including all utility bills, water rates, council tax, tv license, bt line rental, wireless broadband and freeview. This works out at £65 per week for the single room (£280 per month). As I’m a private landlord there are no admin fees or hidden costs.

The deposit is placed in the Government regulated Deposit Protection Service for your peace of mind. A homeserve emergency policy is also currently included.

The houses are very well decorated and have attractive gardens. They come with all mod concs Tv, Fridge Freezer, Microwave, washing machine etc. All rooms are furnished with matching ikea furniture. There are spacious fitted kitchens and nice quality spot lighting.

The properties are situated close to a canal and park, with Brindley place and broad street only 20 minutes walk away down the canals.
Transport links are excellent with the number 101 bus leaving less than one minute from the door travelling to the city centre and takes less than 10-12 minutes to get there, it is only 7 minutes to the jewellery quarter+train station+metro. It takes 5-7 minutes to the city centre by car and 3 or 4 minutes to the Jewellery Quarter. There is one shared driveway space and plenty of parking is available on the estate.

This is a young mixed professional/mature students/master students house share with a sociable atmosphere. Applicants must be friendly and easy to get along with. No DSS or couples unfortunately.
