ROOM: This is a rare opportunity to rent a room in a shared house which has a very private feel to it as it is the only room on the lower floor. Adjacent to it is the large utility room and the toilet and shower room. Although this shower room is available to all housemates in reality most use the bathroom upstairs, which adds to the feeling of privacy.The room is a double room that is furnished, clean, bright and well decorated. Please note that this room is £350 a month for single occupancy and £450 a month for a couple sharing.
THE HOUSE: The house is a beautiful 4 storey Victorian home. On the ground floor there is a lounge and a kitchen/diner. There is a balcony which leads off of the kitchen which has views across Bristol. Steps lead down to the lovely cottage style garden. In addition to these rooms there is also a very large utility/communal room on the lower ground floor with access to the garden. There are three toilets in the house (two of which are shared) There is a bathroom (with shower) on the first floor and a shower room on the lower ground floor.
THE HOUSEMATES: The housemates are all very friendly, clean and tidy. You will be sharing with 5 others, at present they are all male.
THE AREA: The house is in the nice bit of knowle, opposite the newly refurbished swimming pool with gym. There are local shops, library, and easy access to the bus routes. The large Tesco in Brislington can be walked to easily. It is 2 miles from Temple Meads Train station. It is also well located to get to Bath as the A4 is just down the hill.
THE LANDLORDS: Our names are Lisa and Roger, the house used to be our family home and is now registered and licensed by the Bristol City Council. We want you to be happy in our house and aim to develop a friendly but 'professional' relationship with our tenants and provide a high standard of upkeep.
Rent is all inclusive of bills. There is internet access and a phone line but cost is shared with the other housemates (if you want to use these).
