Hey there!

I've got a room to rent at my place in Old Market, Bristol, a quick five-minute walk from the city centre and in easy reach of Bristol Temple Meads train station and drop-off points for the Airport Shuttle. Located in Bristol's lively and thriving Old Market area the apartment itself is a two-bedroom duplex, with plenty of access to cool places to visit and easy transportation. The bottom floor of the flat has an open-plan kitchen/living room/ dining area and is great for just hanging out in. Video and board games are in abundance, and an internet line should be going in at the start of June.

The room to let has an awesome sofa bed, a chest of drawers, a side table and a bookshelf. There is an attached cupboard and a space to put in extra furniture if required, and whoever rents the room is more than welcome to decorate it as they see fit.

I'm a self-confessed and thoroughly unashamed geek with a passion for travel, the outdoors and new experiences. Hobbies include hiking, kayaking, fencing, cooking, reading, writing, spending way too much time online, playing board, video and roleplaying games and discovering new ways to unintentionally avoid sleeping. I've also recently been bitten by the fitness bug, though this is more of an occupational hazard than a hobby. I'm very easy-going and sociable, and quite often have folks over in the evening.

For a flatmate I'm looking for a professional aged between 24 and 32, who is relaxed and laid-back and ideally identifies as a geek of some sort or another. They will not mind visitors rocking up unexpectedly, and will be open to the idea of hosting foreign travellers on occasion - ideally they will have some experience of CouchSurfing, but this isn't a requirement. Cleanliness is important, as is a willingness to share cooking duties. I'm a dedicated non-smoker, and would need my flatmate to be as well. A willingness to hang out and a liking for board games, video games and just chilling out is important too!
