My name is James and I'm a 26 year old IT professional working in the centre of Brighton, and I've got my current housemate moving out as of the end of August, though he is happy to move out before then, the contract signing with agents would be as of Sept 1st.
My flat is based right next to Portslade station, which is a short journey into Brighton by train and right on the major bus routes of the 1, 49 and 6. It's a reasonably recent build, light airy flat with skylights throughout, a huge kitchen/living room with a breakfast bar, and all other mod-cons you'd expect. The room is a large double with plenty of space, large wardrobe and looks out onto the roof garden, which comes complete with astro turf and pond for those lovely summer lounges!
I do have two Sphynx cats who are rather needy and like a nice cuddle, but they're perfectly lovely. They however don't like other animals, so wouldn't be able to accommodate.
The rent is £450, £10 for internet, £75 council tax and utilities vary but are approximately £25 a month when split. There is also a security deposit of £675 required
No students due to council tax issues.
