I am a single female desperately seeking a room to rent with FEMALES ONLY on DSS (to begin with). Ideally no more than 3 people in the home.
I was made redundant from my job (company downsize) and was receiving housing benefit at my previous rental. It was a two bedroom apartment and the I was in there alone. The landlord found a family to rent and asked me to move out. I am now technically homeless although I have been offered the sofa at my friends house for a few weeks. I am a very clean, respectful, happy-go-lucky person who is down on their luck and is looking for someone to help them out (DSS) until they get on their feet. I have secured three interviews with companies and I hope one of them will be successful. I am looking to rent for at least 12 months and will come off of DSS as soon as I am employed again. I am a PA and have been for over 9 years.
