The Cottage is on an elevated site which means it has panoramic sea and mountain views incredible sunsets which can be viewed from the conservatory. There are so many beaches on your door step, horse riding, lots of excellent golf courses (Rosapenna golf resort 5min away), numerous opportunities for hill walking, fishing, angling, boating, diving, surfing and water sports. Shops, butcher, cafe and bars are in Carrigart town which is a few minutes away. Downings visitors can use the facilities at Magherabeg Leisure Centre for Swimming, Sauna, steam and spa also great places to eat. The cottage has everything you need for a relaxing self catering holiday! Prices start from £350 per week to £480. Weekends - £250.

This modern and comfortable cottage is in an excellent location for a range of activities including golf, hill walking, horse riding, fishing, angling, boating, diving, surfing, and - for those for whom such pursuits are a little energetic - it’s also the perfect location for a relaxing getaway!

Milford, Ramelton, Rathmullan, Kerrykeel, Portsalon, Downings, Dunfanaghy are all within easy reach and offer a host of things to see and do.

Local Activities

At Carrigart you can experience all types of water sports activities at Mevagh Diving Centre a few minutes away.

Sea angling and boat charters are available at Downings, Portsalon and Rathmullan. On the Mulroy Bay side of the peninsula is the location of the Meadows Fishery. This is a two acre stream fed lake with good road access and parking space. Fishing is by fly only using barbless or debarbed hooks. Ranges of fishing options are available to cater for both the experienced angler and the beginner.

The spectacular landscapes of the Inishowen and Rosguil Peninsulas, the unspoilt Donegal Highlands, Glenveigh National Park is not to be missed.
