Mirrlees – 57’ 6” (17.520m) Narrow boat built in 1991

Insured by: Collidge & Partners, Margate, Kent

Mooring Location: Continuous cruising license, at the moment on the
Regents Canal - Bethnal Green. We have a paid and booked mooring permit for the Regents Canal for the Olympic Period this year (July to September)

Boat Layout:

• The craft’s layout includes a forward saloon and galley with a
connecting side corridor, which gives access to a bathroom with fitted
shower and pump out toilet.

• The rear cabin contains a good-sized bedroom with a fixed double bed and some storage.

• The dining table and benches convert into a second double bed.
• The roof height is such that a person of six foot can stand up easily.

Systems and Services:

• The craft is fitted with a basic LPG gas system for cooking only.

• Domestic hot water is achieved by running the engine, which is
connected to the hot water tank via the calorifire circuit.

• A new Morso Squirrel multifuel stove (4.5Kw output) in the saloon
heats the boat.

• 2 x Solar panels, one large and one small

The Engine:

• Reconditioned 4 cylinder, 1.8Ltr BMC water-cooled marine diesel
engine with fitted gearbox.

• The engine is fitted with a singer alternator system for the charging
of the 12-volt DC battery banks. These provide power for all basic on
board equipment such as water pumps and lighting etc.

• A basic 240-volt ACC system with landline connection is also fitted to
sockets through the cabin.

Mirrlees is a good-sized narrow boat, newly painted and in sound order. She has been continually cruising on the Kennet & Avon Canal and
through London for the last two years.
