Only 6 min walk for trains to London Bridge, Blackfriars, Victoria, Elephant & Castle...12min walk from Goldsmiths College and a 20-30min cycle to central London. Fantastic Telegraph Hill park for midnight views of London only a 2minute walk.

The room measures a massive 15ft5 x 14ft8 (4.7m x 4.5m). As you can see from the pictures, it has a LOT of floor space. It is well lit, has a big bay window, double glazing well sound-proofed from the street and internally quiet. The bedroom is beautifully decorated with wooden flooring and a massive fitted wardrobe. There is currently no bed but the landlord will get one, unless you have your own.

HOUSE FEATURES
Plenty of communal space - kitchen, dining room and living room. All cosy and spacious. Non-smoking inside the house.
There's a washing machine/fridges/freezer/dishwasher/etc. Well-equipped kitchen, big garden where vegetables are grown, newish bathroom with electric power-shower as well as an extra toilet downstairs. Loft for storing stuff, bike rack in front for secure cycle parking.
There's 24mb internet, wireless connection in the house.

We're from all over the place (Canada, England, Ireland, France, Italy) and have all seen bits of the world. Ages span the twenties, but we're a pretty open bunch. 2guys/3girls. We're a mix of people - post-grad students (fine art, dance), musicians and employed (museums, french embassy, software development).
We all have our own interests and everyone is busy with their lives, but like to get together sometimes for dinners and going out to gigs, parties, etc.

The house is tidy and clean - we have a weekly cleaning rota :-)
There's a greenhouse in the garden, and half the garden has been used for growing vegetables.
----Transport and local area-----
Front door to London Bridge, Waterloo/Charing Cross/Blackfriars/Cannon St/Victoria in about 30min and Elephant & Castle in 15min.
Well served by buses day time and night time.
Brockley and New Cross Gate are served by the East London Line, so Shoreditch in 20min or connections with Jubilee line in 10.
Peckham, Lewisham and Deptford high streets are not far away, easy cycles for any major shopping and there's a large Sainsbury's at the bottom of Telegraph hill near New Cross Gate station.
Brockley is great - there's a farmers market, 2 mini markets near by, lots of cafes, organic food shops, music venues/pubs with live bands within a short distance. Very safe area, and night buses a plenty. Nunhead has a butchers, fishmongers, bakers (amazing) - within 10min walk of the house.
--- Bills and Rent ---
The room is £510 per month.
we pay around £45 a month for all the bills - council tax, water rates, gas, electricity and internet.
We rent the house on a joint contract which will be up for renewed on the 15th September.
One and a half months deposit and one month rent in advance.
