My name is Holly. I am a primary school teacher looking for some extra work in the area that my skills and qualifications are and that compliments my love of children.
This could involve tutoring your child to enhance achievement, providing further learning opportunities or helping with homework in a beneficial manner. I can read with your child and extend the phonics learning they will be doing at school. It may simply be that you do not wish you child to completely stop their education over the summer holidays, in this case I could provide varied learning opportunities to keep them learning and thinking.
I would be happy to work with more than one child at a time. I can also work with you to give you ideas about how you yourself can most benefit the learning and education of your child at home.
I have a secure knowledge of the curriculum and Early years foundation stage and therefore can provide learning opportunities in line with their work at school.
Prior to working with your child, I would take the time to discuss with you exactly what your needs are and how I can best support your child. I would also be interested to know what your child's interests are so that any work can be tailored specifically for their enjoyment.
I am happy to be the carer of your child during this time if you are out/working and can provide child care for longer than this time if required.
From now until September I am available weekdays, weekends and evenings. September and after, I will be available evenings and weekends. I would be happy to come to your house or provide a relaxed and welcoming working environment in my own home.
I am CRB checked, a non-smoker and happy to be around pets. I have had experience working with children with special educational needs and disabilities. I am negotiable with pay. If you are interested, please get in contact and I can send you a full CV, references and any further information you may want.
I look forward to hearing from you and meeting your child/children.
