MAGICAL WORLDS EASTER HOLIDAY PROGRAMME 2-5 APRIL 2012

This fun-filled 4 day course will give students opportunities to create and explore their own magical worlds -focusing on such lands as Oz, Narnia, Dr. Who and Harry Potter and exploring every area of theatre from acting, singing, dancing, to costume design, set design, writing, and directing.
Day 1: Tornado,Tardis and the Hogwarts Express Entering A Magical World - Create your own magical world through your imagination and write your own stories and scripts for our final show.
Day 2: Somewhere over the Rainbow-Using songs from Wicked, The Wizard of Oz, Matilda the Musical and Disney, students will learn vocal techniques and songs to incorporate into their final performance, as well as dance routines and spoken dialogue.
Day 3: Ruby Slippers,Sonic Screwdriver and the Wardrobe Constructing the Magical World - This exciting day will focus on Costume & Make Up, Props, Location & Set Design, as well as music and sound effects.
Day 4: Presenting the Magical World - Final performance of the magical worlds play for parents and friends.
