The Butterfly Group Christmas Fair 10am – 3.30pm, Tuesday on 11th December 2012 at The Cliffs Hotel, Lancaster Suite, Queens Promenade, Blackpool, FY2 9SG. This event will bring together local people, voluntary groups, charities, businesses and hotel guests with shared interests and passions for arts, crafts and skills in a Christmas themed Fair whilst making guest attendees aware of their community work and support to others in addition to businesses promoting their services, support and systems.
The Butterfly Fair will comprise up to 15 stalls and displays with organisations and businesses who are able to sell their Christmas themed wears eg. Christmas cards, candles, Christmas wreaths and floral display exhibits, recycling demonstration, etc. There will also be a Butterfly Group Tombola and Raffle running throughout the day raising funds for the host charity, The Butterfly Group. There will be meals and refreshments available for purchase at the hotel.
Admission is £1.50 to the public which includes a free tea, coffee and mince pie and residents of the hotel will be charged 50p on production of their key card. We do expect a good turnout.
The Butterfly Christmas Fair aims to get charities, voluntary groups and businesses with like-minded ideas and ideals to meet at the fair with opportunities to work together in the future for the good of the community. This is whilst given the opportunity to sell their themed goods and services at the stalls. With this in mind, stallholders are asked not to sell or promote their own tombolas or raffles on the day as it would go against the host charity, The Butterfly Group who are running the main raffle and tombola on the day.
Stalls will be sold on a first come, first served basis and stall sizes range from 4.8 ft to 7 ft. If you are seeking an area for instance to promote and sell recycled furniture, an equivalent size area will be allocated. If you would like to have a stall or display, please read "stall holders' conditions" and complete & return the booking to us via email or post to The Butterfly Group, 4 Deansgate, Blackpool, FY1 1BN.
The Butterfly Group is entirely not-for-profit and self-sustaining, relying on grant aid, voluntary help and donations. To help towards the cost of the event, we have to charge for stalls as follows:

We would also be very grateful for any donations of suitable prizes for the Tombola and/or Raffle.
