BIOGRAPHY

Marika has performed with companies such as Kentish Opera, Opera on the Run, Operatique, London Operaworks & City Opera, which have led her to sing at prestigious venues such as The Queen Elizabeth Hall, The Barbican Centre, St Albans Cathedral, Southwark Cathedral, Birmingham Symphony Hall.

An experienced session singer, Marika has also recorded material at the world reknowned Abbey Road Studios and Air Studios. Having recorded with the Purcell Singers, her vocals can be heard on the soundtracks and trailers to: Madagascar 2, King Kong, War of the Worlds, The Da Vinci Code, Spider-man 3, The Fantastic Four, The Island , Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire & also feature on the original West End cast recording of Cameron Macintosh's production, Mary Poppins and on the trailer for the West End production of Flashdance the Musical. Amongst her recording credits are clients such as XBox, BBC, The English National Opera and Unilever commercials.

A keen supporter of various charities, Marika performs regularly for Charity Fundraising and Awareness Events with organisations such as Marie Curie Cancer Care, UK Hospices, Macmillan Cancer Care, Breast Cancer Awareness and The Railway Children. My charity work continues being a Winner of The Vodafone World of Difference Programme 2012 for The Tribute 2 a Legend Trust.
Her outgoing personality and quick sense of humour shone through and was hand-picked as an #SBS Winner by BBC Dragon and Business Entrepreneur Theo Paphitis in 2011.
