THE STITCHERY - Sewing Classes in Glasgow

The Stitchery is a place to create, to make friends and to unwind. It is the home of practical courses and workshops, taught by our resident designer Cassandra Belanger. Instruction covers a wide variety of fashion and design related subjects, such as sewing basics, using a sewing machine, understanding a flat pattern, the design process, seams, hems and basics alterations (to name just a few).

The classes are aimed at people of all skill levels, whether you're a complete novice or already have some sewing experience. They are informal, relaxed, and typically full of good banter. There's plenty of tea and coffee drinking involved and, if you're lucky, a taste of Cassandra's home baked delights.
