Painted blue road bike stolen from Marchmont area
Marchmont, Edinburgh

Sorry, this ad is no longer available.

Hi,
My bike was stolen on the night of the 10th September on Thirlestane Road in Marchmont. It is a hand-painted, light blue men's road bike with orange brake wires. Some of the paint has flaked off the main bar to expose the original grey paint underneath, and the make is a ridgeback, though this isn't really visible because of the blue. There is a luggage rack on the back, and there may be barcode stickers on the main bar, which are left over from a flight it was taken on.

The bike is worth practically nothing - I got it at least 3rd hand - but has a lot of sentimental value. I've had her for four years and cycled at least 3000 miles with her, so really, really don't want to lose her for good. If anyone has seen a bike fitting that description around, please let me know, and if the person who stole it happens to be reading this ad, I'm not interested in pressing charges or anything similar, so long as I get my bike back I'm happy!

Also sorry about the photos - I know they're not the clearest!

Thanks
