Male Lead Singer Required For Covers Band!

Male Lead singer required for an established and reputable 5-piece Midlands covers band with regular gigs throughout the area – 30 bookings already in 2012. We’re looking for the following:

Charismatic and versatile – must be comfortable doing pubs, clubs, weddings and corporate events
Great voice – capable of diverse styles
Ideally aged between 24 and 40
Natural performer
Good image
Must have own transport and be willing to cart some kit around!

We would like to audition immediately and then ease the right person into the band over the next few months. The current lead singer will stay on to hand over.

More Information and Background

What?
Revolver are a versatile five piece band available for hire across the whole of the Midlands (and throughout the UK). We’re friendly, professional and have a huge amount of live experience. We all have jobs and treat this as a side project – basically the vibe is professional but relaxed. We gig most weekends and occasionally in the week. We head into the studio around once every couple of months to learn new songs and keep the set fresh.

The current line up of the band consists of 2 x guitarists, 1 bass and drummer. We also have a backing track that runs through many of our songs.

We’re all between 27 and 40 and good friends. We are one of the best established cover bands around and are very busy. We have our own full back line PA, lighting rig etc.... and play bars, clubs, weddings and parties around the country – predominantly in the West Midlands.

We have around 30 future bookings already confirmed for the rest of the year and bookings through to 2013. We have an excellent marketing strategy, backed up by quality demos. We currently have a back catalogue of around 80 songs that range from the 60s to modern day - rock and pop.

When?
The position has become vacant as our current singer cannot commit past 2013 due to family matters, but has agreed to stay with us until we have found the right candidate to fill the position and will honour any gigs throughout 2012 until we are ready to hand over to the new front man and ease them into the role.
