Study How To Make Mineral & Coloured Make-up By Distance Learning. This accredited course is available for anyone who wishes to learn to make their own make-up. You will be guided through the steps you need to take in order to produce the most beautiful coloured cosmetics.
By the end of this course you will have made a selection of cosmetics including cream, powder and pressed eye shadow, blusher, lipstick, lip gloss, foundation, primer, concealer, mascara and eye liner using a variety of ingredients and colours. You will be able to identify suitable pigment types, blend colour shades, recognise the purpose of the different ingredients and understand how to modify the recipes to create a variety of products.

Course content:
You will learn how to make:
Cream, Powder & Pressed Eye Shadow, Blusher, Lipstick, Lip gloss, Foundation, Primer, Concealer, Mascara, & Eyeliner

You will learn how to identify suitable pigment types, blend colour shades

Recognise the purpose of the different ingredients

Understand how to modify the recipes to create a variety of products

Home study :
The course is broken down into four manageable modules, each of which guide you through the steps you need to take in order to produce the coloured cosmetics. It is estimated that you need approximately 4-8 hours for each of the four modules. Your tutor will assist you throughout the course and will offer email support during the programme which will enable you to ask questions as and when they arise.
Assessments:
You will be required to complete an assignment and this is sent to your assessor for marking.

Raw ingredients including mineral make-up base powders, micas, oxides, ultramarines, oils, butters, waxes & packaging

CPD Certificate

Prerequisites and requirements:
No qualifications or experience are necessary to study the course.

Qualification:
A printed certificate is issued to those who have successfully completed the course in line with the CPD Certificate Service requirements.

Course Price: £174 (which includes 20% VAT - £29)
