JEM Theatre Training Academy (JEMTTA) is a new theatre school with one aim - to prepare young adults for the world of dance.

JEMTTA will be opening it's doors in Worthing, West Sussex in September 2012. The academy will run on Sundays for 6 hours a day during term time. All students must be 16 or older from 1st September 2012. All students must audition and only a small amount of students will be accepted onto the course each year. This means that each student can get the best tuition tailored to their individual needs. It is recommended that this course be taken along side BTEC's/A-Levels or a degree in dance/performing Arts/Musical Theatre.

Subjects we study at JEMTTA are:
Ballet, Jazz, Street/Break, Contemporary, Body Conditioning/Yoga/Pilates, Tumbling, Drama, Vocal, Tap, Portfolio and Audition Technique.

Also included in the cost of the course is:
* Every couple of weeks students will receive a special 2 hour workshop as part of their Sunday class. This workshop will be led by a different industry professional in their specialist area.

* Once a term students are taken on a theatre trip to London or another city to see a current musical or touring dance production. Travel costs are also included from Worthing.

* A JEMTTA T-shirt and hoddie
