Interesting and original musicians wanted

I am initially looking for musicians interested in writing, recording and eventually gigging. I would like to form a band playing folk/rock with a metal twist. I am a 40 something bass player, but also play guitar and drums. I am hoping to hear from guitarists (electric and acoustic), fiddle players, keyboardists, vocalists and any other instrumentalists in the first instance and when ready, search for a drummer. No age restrictions but a desire to be different from the rest is desirable. Open to the odd cover if it fits, but I have never played a single cover before. I am currently working on a recording project but would like to involve like minded musicians with the view to taking what we create out on the road.
