Hi all,
We are a church based in Mitcham and we looking for people who know how to play music instrument or know how to sing in order to create a new gospel choir to perform all around the UK.

Experience in gospel music not necessary. I will be singing in the group myself and also coordinating it as Manager.

Lead Singer

Strong voice & good singer (Formal training not necessary)
Potential as a good performer and star quality
Some recent performance experience in ANY singing even if informal experience at church, functions, college, karaoke etc
VERY confident and be able to lead in public performances
Ability to help the group harmonise
Ambitious and committed to continuous self development
Creative and versatile
Vibrant and stands out
Manage group in event of my absence
Able to travel outside London and the UK.

Other members

Good and pleasant voice
Has a good ear for music
Know how to play music instrument (Formal training not necessary)
Ability to concentrate and adapt to style and techniques
Past or present experience in ANY singing even if informal experience at church, functions, college, karaoke etc
No formal training needed but willing to commit to daily self development
Confident and ambitious
Able to travel outside London and the UK

AUDITIONS
1. I will be holding informal auditions in the next 3 weekends so applicants should be flexible with time.

Please learn Amazing Grace, you can use a lyric sheet.
Also learn a gospel song with a modern vibe (1 verse and the chorus see Mary Mary, Michelle Williams, Cece and Bebe Winans, soundtrack to Fighting Temptations etc )
FIRST AUDITIONS: Friday 28th April
LAST AUDITIONS: 5th May
Successful applicants will be notified by 8th May 2008
First group meeting Saturday 12nd May
