FASCINATOR MAKING with Party Craft

Party Craft's most popular course, providing fantastic fun and creativity for all ages and ability. Short and longer classes available.
Whether or not you can sew (we have magic glue!), everyone leaves with a beautiful individual creation you will be proud to wear. Under the watchful eye of our in-house milliner you will be guided through what style, size and shape of fascinator will suit you best before choosing from a huge array of stunning fabrics, feathers, trimmings and bling to create your own unique design.
3hr Fascinator Making - £25 per person - Central Edinburgh:
Learn how to make a simple fascinator using a selection of materials and trimmings, including feathers, fabric, diamante stones and pearl beads. All materials and equipment provided. Tuition will include the following:
- Every individual will be advised on what shape and style of fascinator will suit them. You can even bring outfits along that you want to make your fascinator to match and we will advise on designing one to suit.
- Learn to put together a beautiful, unique comb or band-based fascinator using a wide range of materials and everyone will go home with their own unique fascinator perfect for the occasion of your choice!
Half Day Fascinator Making - £40 per person - Central Edinburgh:
A little more to work with than the basic course, in terms of bases to build your fascinator on, learn to make a fascinator using a selection of materials and trimmings, including feathers, fabric, ribbons, veiling, diamante stones and pearl beads. All materials and equipment provided. Tuition will include the following:
- Every individual will be advised on what shape and style of fascinator will suit them. You can even bring outfits along that you want to make your fascinator to match and we will advise on designing one to suit.
- Learn to put together a beautiful fascinator/headpiece choosing from a range of on-trend bases from pillboxes to peardrops.
1 Day Fascinator Making - £60 per person - Central Edinburgh:
Learn to make 2 fascinators from scratch using a selection of materials and trimmings, including feathers, fabric, ribbons, veiling, diamante stones and pearl beads. All materials and equipment provided. Tuition will include the following:
- Every individual will be advised on what shape and style of fascinator will suit them. You can even bring outfits along that you want to make your fascinator to match and we will advise on designing one to suit.
- Learn the secret of making feather and fabric flowers. You will be amazed at what you can create with just a length of fabric or a bundle of feathers.
- Learn to sculpt and style feathers for your fascinator
- Learn to shape and use veiling and crinoline
- Make 2 unique, stylish fascinators (1 comb or band-based and 1 using a fascinator base from a selection of distinctive on-trend bases from pillboxes to peardrops).
The finished results will lead the fashion stakes at the races or a wedding!
