So I've been playing in a variety of bands around Edinburgh for the past three or so years, a bit of folk, some poppy stuff, and a long-running noisy indie band that split up a while back.

I'm looking for drummers, bassists, or guitarists who'd like to hang out and make a racket, play some gigs without worrying too much about genre and cultural importance and rubbish like that. I write/wrote for a few music blogs/papers so it's not like I know nothing about music, it's just I'd rather play what comes naturally. Just make music that we enjoy, run round like nutters, that sort of thing. You get the idea.

Vocals-wise, I'm happy to take the lead. That said, I'm happy to do split-duty and slightly ropey harmony with somebody else if that's something you'd be interested in. And if you want to be a backing singer that's cool too, as long as you'll do some sort of percussion or something like that as well.

Sidepoint, singing drummers are the shit. Singing drummers will be bought beer (if they want beer.)

I'm 24 myself so I'd say any age between 18 and 30, guys or girls. I'm not fussy.

Update: Progress! We, because it's been 24 hours and it's already we, are now a guitarist and a guitarist /bassist-if-I-really-have-to-be-but-I'd-prefer-not-to-because-I'm-not-very-good-at-it. So we're looking for a bassist and a drummer. Or another guitarist if you want to make me all upset. That said, making me all upset is apparently pretty funny so knock yourself out.
