Led by bassist Mike Hatton, this trio’s collective 90 years or more experience of playing Jazz and Blues brings itself to the fore along with superb keyboards and accordion player Phil Bond, a regular with Birmingham legend, the Steve Gibbons Band and Steve’s Dylan Project, and Andy Wheeler on drums and vocals.
All three are more than capable vocalists and often bring in three part harmonies to a mix of the kind of material that you might expect to hear from the likes of Georgie Fame and Mose Allison as well as a wide range of other great Blues and Jazzy Blues, in addition to some strong, mature original writing from both Bond and Hatton. Add a sprinkling of outstanding soloing virtuosity from both Mike Hatton and Phil Bond and you have a band that can seriously enthral.
