The Frost Fair will run from 2-6pm.
Outside Honeywood Museum and in the nearby Memorial Gardens there will be stalls from the Wallington Farmers Market offering a range of tasty treats and craft stalls . As it gets darker the area will be lit with twinkling fairy lights and you can do some shopping with the smell of roasting chestnuts in the air.
There will also be choirs, live music and entertainment of various types with a seasonal feel.
Inside Honeywood Museum there will be children’s activities including a puppet show and a Santa’s Grotto. And why not head to the Honeywood Café for mulled wine, mince pies and food and drink for a well earned rest.
The Friends of the Ecology Centre will be running their Christmas Fair alongside the Frost Fair from 1-5pm, providing more activities for families, offering the chance to create festive edible tree-decorations for wildlife as well as enjoying their Winter Wonderland Trail.
The switching on of the Christmas lights, courtesy of Carshalton Street Traders Association, funded by Sutton Council will also be happening around 6pm. Shops will be open later than usual and there will also be entertainment in the High Street to continue the festivities of the afternoon.
