Starting a new band from scratch. I've played in bands on and off over 15 years playing original music but have always wanted to have a go at putting together a soul band. I use the word SOUL loosely because I dont want to go down the same route as every other soul band tends to do...IE Mustang Sally, Everybody needs Somebody To love etc etc etc. I'm interested in taking some songs not considered soul or bluesy and making them sound like they are. I'm a big Motown fan and would love to attempt to recreate some of those tunes.

Would like to hear from a Tennor Sax or Trombone player who'd be interested in something like this. like I said, this is starting from scratch so I know it's going to take some time but for the minute, I'd love to have a chat with some like minded people about playing and discussing some real music. I'm 27, play guitar with some very limited vocal capabilities! Ha. Think it would be cool to get mix of all types of people, male or female so if you're interested please get in touch
