Studio 180 is a very special set of artist studios based in a converted Georgian house near Waterloo SE1. We are made up of a couple of painters, an illustrator, a performing artist and a recently signed band. The studios are based over four floors of the house which creates a very intimate and unique working environment. The basement of the Studios plays host to an ever changing calendar of events including; Art Exhibitions, Dinner Clubs, Film Viewing, Theatre, Live Music & Photo Shoots.

From 1st June 2012 one of these spaces will become available.

The room is 3.4m-3.8m with 2.6m high ceilings. It has good natural light, is very secure, has a fire place, many original georgian features & free wifi. Also within the studios you will have the use of a beautiful kitchen, toilets, shower and very very small lawn, not to mention the basement space which is available to all for cheap daily hire.

The cost of the studio is £91.15 per week, which covers all bills.

We are looking for a very special person or persons to fill this space on a daily basis, due to the intimate nature of the studios. The aim with Studio 180 has always been to create an environment were creative people can work and interact in an inspiring setting. Anyone wanting to take this space should also be prepared to get fully involved with the program of events taking place within it, and also will be free and encouraged to put on their own. The basement space is very much a non profit venture but to make this work it needs all Studio 180 members to be proactive.

This really is an amazing opportunity for a solo artist or group of creatives to be a part of a studio and event space that is growing and very much alive.

Studio 180 is also very closely linked to Make Space Studios, a 70 strong artist community based 300m down the road. All 180 members will get the opportunity to get involved with their open studios events and all other activities they take on. www.makespacestudios.com

We should point out the space at studio 180 is not for living in, it is very much an artist studio. You will however have 24hr access to do your work.
