Nissan Vanette 2.0d, Not Toyota Hiace, Japanese Van, Export

Selling My Trusty Old 1994 Vanette. Would Like To See It Go For Export. MOT Failure, Mainly On Corrosion, Too Many Points Within 350mm, But In My Humble Opinion, Nothing Actually Dangerous. Would Take A Lot Of Welding For MOT - Tester Raked It Out, Rather Pedentic. Also Play In The Steering Arm Idler. Emissions Test Fine. I Thought I Was Going To Keep The Van, Hence The Unused Carpet Installed Back And The Unused Towbar! I Have Owned The Van Since 2006 When It Had Done 132,000 Miles. Used By Me As A Self Employed Carpenters Work Van. Offers Around £400

NOTE: The Van Looks Small Like A Rascel, But Is Actually Closer To A Transit Size, I Can Squeeze A Sheet Of 8x4 In The Back.

PLEASE, No Timewasters, Or Idiots, Also If You Cant Speak Or Write Reasonable English Do Not Contact Me.

Good Points
- 4 Almost New Tyres
- Clutch Replaced At 132,000miles
- Cam Belt Changed At 154,000
- TOW BAR (Witter)
- Roof Rack
- Solid And Economical Diesel Engine. 36/40MPG
- Oil Changed Biannually, New Air Filter.
- New Carpet In Rear Of Van - Unused!
- Lights Etc All Working

Bad Points
- MOT Failure, Corrosion, Play In Steering Arm Idler (though This Was Replaced Two Years Ago!)
- Exhaust Front Section Blowing Slightly Plugged With Jubilee Clip, Passed MOT
- Brake Pipe Corroded
- Sliding Door Pretty Stiff, Runner Corroded. Works Though.

Things To Consider
- Bit Smokey In Intial Start Up, It Has Always Done This. I Realise Now It Could Probably Benifit From Glow Plug Change, Though All The Mechanics Said They Were Fine.
- Glow Plugs On Switch, Not Relay. I Think This Is A Good Thing. Switch Is A Domestic Light Switch, But It Works.
- I Installed The Heater, Which Has An On/off Switch Wired To It - No Other Settings. This Weeps, But It Never Bothered Me As I Put A Drip Tray Under It. Probably Just Hose Clamp.
- I Replaced The Wheelarch With Fibreglass. An Improvement In My Opinion As It Has Been On There 3 Years, Passes MOTs And Doesn't Rust! Looks Ok, Not Perfect.
- This Is An 18 Year Old Work Van, And Is In Good Condition For The Year - I've Seen A Lot Worse - It Has Been Looked After As An Old Work Horse Should Be, Although I Regret Not Doing The Underbody Seal.
