Apparently quite rare due to dvla fault upon import but cannot confirm, have been told if you contact mx5parts you can give them vin number to get history from before import.
This is the long nose version which is a lot more reliable than the short nose, they suffer from crank wobble

Just about to put new pads and discs on front, rears are nearly new.

Imported by Autoworld of Chartham, Canterbury in 2002, first UK mot and paperwork to prove, dated June 11th 02.
All MOT's since import except 2010 2011, same lady owner (a nurse)from import til 2009 previous owner told me it was fully serviced recently and cam belt changed last year, no reciept to prove this I'm afraid but judging by oil and filter condition I'd say it was true.

It comes with original Autosport reciept which had hard top included in price and mileage saying 135000km when sold.
Also has original Jap Dealer Book. Comes with original Jap Handbook and service book, with some service details in it, the pages are seperating but look to all be there.
Lots of old paperwork, all this even comes with an envelope written in Japanese! There are also stickers on the inside of drivers door from japan and autoworld, its that good!
I'll provide pictures of these upon request
The leather is ok, hole in drivers bolster and a slit in the passengers seat
Interior Could do with a valet, there are a couple of nicks on drivers door card and the crash pad is a lighter colour than the rest, otherwise its spot on. Includes V-special mats
I've just driven it 315 miles from london to hayle and it runs beautifully!
Had a look underneath and its solid, bushes are fine and has clearly been garaged. The only rust is pictured in the below link on one of the wheel arches, this is nothing major and is a cheap/easy repair

Recent new rear exhaust, the battery looks new(jap one) and it appears to have been waxoiled underneath but not for some time.
All four tyres are about 5-6mil, daisy center caps included
Tool kit is present, not seen a cleaner boot I don't think
This link contains more pictures, I will add more upon request.

Last mot had no advisory, only 2500 miles since
The only other things that let it down is the roof which could do with being changed, the window is only misty so should clean up but there's no leaks. It does have tears in it, notably on the pillars where the guttering is, these have been taped up, the guttering is clean and there is no water getting into cills.
A friend has a soft top and frame he can sell for £48 including delivery, the rear window has two small tears but have been taped up however, the hood is better and you could swap for the cloudy window. Its an easier job than you think!
a slight crease in the passenger front arch(pictured in link) and mentioned leather seats..
There is a scorpion alarm/immob with it, its in the boot disconnected as apparently it was playing up... Maybe you can sort it?
Viewing and test drives welcome.

Have just removed the old fog light and done the conversion, it is now situated in the drivers rear light cluster where reverse used to be with a red bulb in. Looks much better!
