Up for sale is this LDV Convoy 400 Minibus, with a years MOT and 6 months tax. The engine in this particular minibus is the ford transit non-turbo engine, so you know it is going to be pretty reliable. It has so far done 87525 miles. It was previously owned by a school before I brought it, and has been well looked after.

My reason for selling is that I no longer need a van of this size. It is a big vehicle. I was using it to tour the country with my band, but it is no longer needed. Needless to say it has been a real work horse and never let us down. The minibus is registered as a 17 seater, but we removed the back double seat so we had extra space to store our equipment. I have subsequently sold this seat, so it now has 15 seats. The other thing to mention is that the back half of the vehicle has had all the windows tinted and a master lock padlock fitted to the rear double doors, as we used to store our equipment in the bus when we were away on tour. When we got the van there was no stereo with it so we have fitted a pair of speakers in the back and a new stereo in the front. The van does not come with a stereo but it has a halfords stereo lead adapter already to go, so all you will need to do is get the halfords converter for your stereo and just plug it in.

There are a couple of knocks on the bus which were present when I acquired the vehicle. Under the front nearside headlight and rear offside light and bumper. It is also worth mentioning that the windscreen rubber has degraded. I have brought a new rubber just not got around to replacing it. I will chuck this in with the van once sold.There is the usual wear and tear of a vehicle that has been used regularly. Overall its in pretty good condition for its age. It has just passed its MOT, which is valid till Jan 2013, and I have just taxed in for 6 months till July 2012.
