Hi, thanks for looking at our ad. We are selling this Ford Focus as we've just bought a camper-van and need to make space on the drive!

We bought this car three years ago and my wife has used it since then for work. The car has averaged 16,000 miles per year since we have owned it and has NEVER broken down, and consistently returns around 43mpg. The 1.6 Zetec runs very smoothly and I have serviced it regularly (every 10k at least) since owning it. I'm lucky that if there's been any job I can't do, we have a very good local garage and a cousin who's also a mechanic! The cam-belt was changed at 70,000. The clutch was changed last year by the garage and I changed both rear-bearings out over the Christmas period.

The interior is in excellent condition. The exterior is also in excellent condition for a 10 year-old car. There are some signs of it's age including some very small areas of paint damage on the tailgate and a scuff to the nearside wing mirror.

The ONLY known issue with this car is an electrical fault somewhere in the drivers door. This has affected the electric window and the central locking occasionally activates while driving. This issue has never caused us any concern so we haven't looked much into it.
