The Stitchery is a home studio based in the heart of Glasgow which, for the majority of time, serves as the creative space for fashion designer Cassandra Belanger. For a couple of evenings each week it is also the home of practical classes and workshops, taught by Cassandra, on the art of designing and making your own unique clothing.

Topics covered by these classes include basic sewing skills, using a pattern, beginner draping techniques, design process, and hand stitching techniques, to name a few. The classes are aimed at people of all skill levels, whether you're a complete novice or already have some sewing experience. They are informal, relaxed, and typically full of good banter. They come with plenty of tea/coffee drinking and, if you're lucky, a taste of Cassandra's home baked delights.
