Do you struggle to create photos that you're proud to share? Do you want to take striking photos of family event or holiday? Are you looking for ways to add visual appeal to your website, or social networking pages?

This workshop is an exciting chance to find out how to make some simple changes can have a major impact on the photos you take. The workshop is packed with practical tips on composition, and there will also be time to try out putting them into practice. We'll have fun looking at some of the many elements that can come together to make your photos stand out from the crowd.

We’ll spend a day in a relaxed and friendly group, learning about many aspects of taking a great photo that are nothing to do with your camera and equipment. We’ll start looking at things differently, and becoming more aware of how to compose a great shot. Come and start to learn to see the world with a photographer’s eye!

These one-day workshops will be particularly helpful for people who haven't had the opportunity to spend time thinking about photo composition before.

We'll be based in the centre of the beautiful city of Edinburgh, so we'll have easy access to many historic and fascinating places to take photos.

It doesn’t matter what sort of camera you bring, or how little photography experience you've had, as long as you can point and shoot, and are willing to have a go.

Saturday 22nd September
from 10-4pm

The workshop will be based in a room at Augustine United Centre, 41 George IV Bridge, Edinburgh, EH1 1EL

Cost £55 per person (excludes lunch)
