Hola!

My name is Juan, but you can call me Johnnie. I was born in Tenerife, to a Spanish father and an English mother. I grew up in Spain, before moving to England. I also spent some time living in Spain as an adult. This means that I am fluent in both Spanish and English. I can talk to you and explain things in perfect English, whilst modelling Spanish with an authentic accent and putting the language into context with information about local regions and dialects. I have the best of both worlds!

I am really friendly and aim to make lessons not just informative, but enjoyable and manageable. I have lots of experience with both children and adults. I teach you what you want to learn, whether you are starting from scratch, studying for an exam, or just wish to perfect your skills. If you are starting from scratch, you won't be overwhelmed, because I break things down and move at a pace that you are comfortable with.

I can either teach you at my home, in Kentish Town, or at your home if you live within a reasonable distance.

I charge £15 p/h for one-to-one lessons at my home.

Group sessions:
2 people: £12 p/h per person.
3/4 people: £10 p/h per person.
5+ people: £9 p/h per person.

Sessions at your home will also incur a travel charge of £5 per visit.
