The Edinburgh Orchestral Ensemble Has Vacancies For Violin, Viola, Cello And Double Bass Players. We Have Also A Vacancy For An Extra Oboe, An Extra Bassoonist And A Timpanist Who Owns His/her Instrument. If You Play Trumpet, Cornet, French Horn, Trombone Or Tuba, Vacancies Will Depend On The Music We Play, But Please, Do Get In Touch, We Will Probably Need You Sooner Or Later!

SECTION LEADERS:
We Have Vacancies For A Leader Of The Second Violins Section, A Leader Of The Cello Section, And A Leader Of The Double Bass Section.

We Are A Very Friendly Orchestra. Musicians Come From The Lothians, The Scottish Borders, Fife, Stirling, Clackmannanshire, North/South Lanarkshire Or Glasgow To Play With Us. We Rehearse At Walking Distance Of The Haymarket Train Station And There Is A Good Bus Service. Free Private Car Park Too. Rehearsal Times Are Suitable To Take The Last Train, Or The Last Bus To The Borders, For Instance.
