Ashtanga Yoga is the original “power yoga”. With an emphasis on dynamic flow, the Ashtanga Primary Series will give you a full physical workout, both inside and out.

At the same time, the breathing techniques and subtle energy locks employed in Ashtanga Yoga will put you fully in tune with your body and your mind. You will be left feeling calm, relaxed and fully in control.

Our 6 week course is designed to take complete beginners through the primary series and will provide training in the invaluable tools which Ashtanga uses to detox and develop your body and your mind.

We will also take some time each week to talk about the philosophy behind this incredibly rich practice.

HATHA YOGA BEGINNERS' COURSE starts 8th January 2013

(Classes will run on a drop-in basis during Dec 2012 on Tuesdays at 7pm - come and try it out!)

Our Hatha Yoga courses for beginners focus on the traditional approach to yoga. You will learn how yoga postures work both on a physical level and the with the subtle energy systems within the body.

Each week we will look at a different aspect of the physical practice, from sun salutes to inversions. You will learn how to build your practice by gently teaching the body how to approach the postures gradually, while training the mind to come to a point of relaxed focus, leaving you with an overall feeling of deep well-being.
