About the business

BullionVault.com is an exciting, London based business. We buy gold bars on professional bullion markets, and allow private customers from all over the world to buy an interest in those gold bars via our website. Private buyers benefit from convenience and big savings when they buy gold via BullionVault.
BullionVault is one of a very few businesses which had prepared for the financial crisis of 2008. Having launched its service in April 2005 it has after just 50 months become the largest private store of investment grade gold on Earth. On the way it has won 15,000 clients, become a full member of the world’s largest bullion market (the LBMA), and won the UK’s premier business prize – the Queen’s Award for Enterprise.
Most of BullionVault’s business comes from English speaking countries, but there is an increasing amount from Europe and elsewhere. We operate from smart, pleasant offices in Hammersmith (West/Central London) where we have an intelligent and diverse staff of 15.

About the role

The company website is at www.BullionVault.com, and having first been developed in English is now also available in French, German, Italian, Japanese and Polish. Similar websites are planned for Spanish and Portuguese.
There are two roles. Each requires you to produce the website in one of those two new languages (in which you must be expert) and to provide spoken cover in either Italian or German, and in English too. We place enormous value on the production of accurate, concise language. We build trust with our customers by what we say and how we say it on-line.
The role also requires you to support customers using the BullionVault website in three main ways – via email, via interactive chat, and via telephone - and in all of the languages which you speak.
It also requires you to process administrative documents carefully and accurately. These are our 'KYC' [Know Your Client] documents. They have to be carefully examined, carefully applied onto our databases, and carefully filed – so that they can always be easily found. Accuracy is at a premium.
You will also be expected to offer backup to other staff – learning what they do to the point where you can complete a basic covering service during staff absences.
The job will include other tasks from time to time requested by management – within reason.
We communicate in our office in English, and you will require a good conversational level. But we are not too fussy about your English as we believe living in London you will soon become expert.
Training
You will receive training on an ongoing basis covering many of the following:

- How the international gold bullion market works
- The relevance of gold within the international monetary system
- How to use the BullionVault system
- Knowledge of the international banking system
- BullionVault's internal procedures for customers
- Use of interactive support utility
