HI

My name is michael and iam 38 years old and have finished a term of employment as a construction manager. I have a 2:2 hons degree and was very good at law when i was at university.

I got a distinction in law and was told by my tutor " Mr Jerry De Frietus" to switch onto the law degree from my business studies. Alas i did not and chose to stick the course i was on.

I have always had an interest in law since i was very young and before i went to the southbank uni of london, i applied to read for law at sussex.

However being a father for two years now and finding it increasingly difficult to earn a living in this sector, my mind turns to past deep buried asparations. I have researched also the role of barrister, which a friend of mine ( who is a practiceing solicitor) thought i would be good at. I enjoy reading and researching into common law for remedies, and find cannon law quite interesting too, as i collect scripts from the loeb classical libary of litriture.

I know that this may be a complete shot in the dark as i understand that time is not on my side, yet i look youg and keep a youthfull sentimentality about wanting to achieve this goal.

If any one out there in the uk believes they may be able to extend a training contract oppertunity, i would enroll on a CPE and use the last of my savings to retrain as council.
