We were in a similar situation; recently split up with our partners, we both have a child and we both just moved to a new area (the same area).
I guess we were feeling the same way..we needed to meet new people, have some real female friends with who we can just be ourselves, laugh, have fun and share everything..
We where both writing and ad here on Gumtree. To cut a long story short one answer the other one’s ad and after exchanging numbers we met up and we’ve became best friends since. Who would believe it? When we first posted our ads we were a bit nervous about what kind of people we were going to meet…freaks? Sad lonely strange individuals?...who knows! But hey! You would be surprise to know that there is a lot of us just looking for the “normal” stuff, a good friendship!
So, we are here to, hopefully meet a lot more females just like us.

Ok, we are both mums and even though our children are our life we still like to do our nails, have a nice drink, the odd night out and we do not spend all our time talking about what our children do, eat or how many times they need changing etc..yes you can be a mummy, a good one, and still have a life..

We both live in south London ( South Croydon area). We are really just looking to meet people any were in south London. We wont be able to meet up with anyone that lives far from us because, lets just be realistic! How often can we see each other if we are miles away!
