Our energy division is developing a business unit to deliver energy surveys in non-dwellings (mainly large commercial property portfolios) to enable the delivery of Energy Performance Certificates and also recommendations for upgrade and improvement.

The position of Graduate Energy Auditor provides a perfect starting point for a graduate career in energy & carbon in property and the built environment. The contract will initially be for 6 months.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Graduate Energy Auditors will be responsible for preparing site drawings for physical survey, under the supervision of WSP’s technical property and energy experts. They will then undertake physical surveys of buildings of all types and sizes. Following the site survey they will be responsible for entering the complete data set into a standard modeling proforma and liaising with the building energy modeling team.

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates should be able to demonstrate both technical and interpersonal skills.

• A good engineering degree in building systems or a similar building or energy engineering discipline will be beneficial.
• On an interpersonal level candidates must be able to work alone, with unfamiliar clients and in new surroundings. Candidates should be able to “think on their feet”.
• A driving license is a pre-requisite for this role.
