The house is a 6 minute walk from the the Muswell Hill Broadway, and its variety of trendy boutiques, good charity shops, cool pubs and a great selection of gourmet and fast food restaurants. There is also a good selection of grocery stores, including a large Marks and Spencers, and Sainsbury's. There is an enormous Tesco within 10 minutes drive. The Alexandra Palace Park, ice rink, and excellent Laboratory health club is just two minutes up the road. There's also and Odeon cinema on the Broadway.

The room is fully furnished by anyone's standards. Apart from all the usual bedroom furniture (bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers) it comes with a TV, and a DVD-player. There is also a computer table, so you can bring work home or just pile up unopened mail without cluttering up your super comfortable orthopaedic bed, or the plush carpet.

The open plan kitchen and lounge/dining room is pretty cool place to entertain and hang out if you're up for company. See the pic's. There's a V+ box connected to the telly, so you can record your favourite cable TV shows if you can't make it home in time, or if it clashes with the boys' live sports. The kitchen is stocked with all the crockery, pots and pans etc. you'll need to cater for a crowd. We also have a landline and unlimited download wireless broadband, at no extra cost.

Lounging in our pretty back garden is great when the sun is out, (as we all hope it will be next year!) We've got all the essentials for a proper weekend get-together. Our current household is South African, British, French and Dutch. Ages range from 25 to 31.

Muswell Hill does not have a tube station, so yes, you'll have to take the bus to work or to either of the nearest train or tube stations. Fortunately there's quite a few routes into the city to consider, so you can vary your daily commute and make it a little more interesting if you've got the time, or the inclination.

Check these out:

for Highgate underground station (Northern Line)
a) bus 43 towards London Bridge Station (runs 24/7) or
b) bus 134 towards Tottenham Court Road (also runs 24/7).
From Highgate it's a 23 minute ride to Bank or Waterloo.

for Bounds Green tube station (Piccadilly Line)
c) bus 102 towards Edmonton Green or
d) bus 299 towards Cockfosters
From Bounds Green it takes 23 minutes to Holborn.

e) bus W7 to Finsbury Park (Victoria and Piccadilly Line), from where it's a 13 minute journey to Oxford Circus.

f) walk through the park (or hop on the W3 bus) to Alexandra Palace Rail Station for the First Capital Connect to Old Street (16 min), Moorgate (22 min), or Stevenage (41 min), Welwyn Garden City (29 min). There are 0 interchanges required in between.

It's always best to check out Transport for London's journeyplanner before setting out.

If you're keen to have a look around one of the finest shared houses in one of the loveliest neighbourhoods of North London send me a message without delay.
