Are you a stylist or working towards the role, fresh out of uni? Are you looking for a challenging project working with a funky, motivated and talented bunch to add to your folio? Then this may be the project for you.

I am a photographer's assistant doing a test shoot for my folio with a fresh, extremely talented, urban girl group.

The shoot is a simple studio set-up somewhere in London. The clothing needs to be on point, expressing the girl-power-esue attitude of early 70's and 80's girl groups and divas. Think Salt ‘n’ Pepa crossed with triangles and your half way there! Vintage clothes could be the main source of clothing items, but this may change.

Essentially, I need your eyes to pull the look together and add those all important contemporary details/accessories. You will need to proactively get involved in contacting retailers, communicating with me your ideas and any updates, and be attentive on the shoot watching for stray strands of hair, etc! You may also be required to have input in directing the look of the make-up if you feel confident in doing so.

Aiming to shoot ASAP. This is an UNPAID role, a collaboration between all parties involved that we can all add to our portfolios. On completion of the shots, my plan is to approach magazines to feature the images as a photo-story on the girl group and all involved will be credited accordingly.
