We are a friendly family with a son 13 and daughter 9 in Tufnell Park, very close to northern line and excellent bus links. We need support with taking care of the children after school and in the school holidays.

In term-time the hours will be an average of 3 days a week from 3.30 to 6.30, occasionally later. In the school holidays 3 or more days a week from 11.00 - 6.00. There is a degree of flexibility. Salary: market rate, negotiable according to hours and qualifications.

Both the children's schools are within 5 minutes of home. We will make you very welcome and would like you to stay for at least a year.

We are looking for a responsible, confident, creative person, who can exercise initiative and authority when necessary. This job would suit a postgraduate student.

You will need a demonstrable interest in older children, fluent spoken and written English, an ability to cook, verifiable references and to be available for interview in London during the next two weeks.

Preference will be given to someone who can read music and would enjoy making music with our daughter, who loves playing the violin. Another advantage would be the ability to speak Spanish with our son. An interest in computer games would be a great help.
