Staff Nurses - Critical Care Unit

Geneva Health is recruiting for Critical Care nurses to work in Guernsey in the Channel Islands.

Rolling beaches, stunning scenery, a laid-back lifestyle and a warmer climate. The island of Guernsey is situated 70 miles off the mainland and is the hidden treasure of the English Channel.

Critical Care is an exciting, purpose-built development, which incorporates a seven-bed Intensive Care /Surgical High Dependency and a three-bed Medical High Dependency /Coronary Care unit, with advanced technology, including a central monitoring system. The unit offers a wide range of experience for staff, with the opportunity to rotate through both sites.

You’ll never be more than a couple of miles from a sandy beach - and the journey to work is usually a matter of five or ten minutes

Benefits:

Along with an attractive remuneration and orientation package the Health and Social Services Department awards a retention bonus of £1,000 bonus after one year and an extra £3,500 after two years. A further retention payment of £757 pa pro rata will be paid each February. NMC subscriptions reimbursed.

A five-year fixed-term housing licence will be available to those wishing to rent or buy their own property. Alternatively, single subsidised accommodation can be provided.

You must have a minimum of 12 months post graduate experience and be registered with the NMC.
